Yesterday was Sophie's 3rd birthday. We got together with Mhairi & Mark and the other grandparents for a little celebration. She got a bike, a blackboard and a doll-house. When we arrived she was as high as a kite, as excited as I've ever seen her. We went out to a nearby restaurant for lunch and then, when we got back, she blew out the candles on her cake. There is going to be a barbeque at Brian & Jeanette Bramwell's on Sunday, so I'll be taking more pictures and I'll publish these on Smugmug on Monday.

My favourite picture
This is my current favourite picture of Sophie. We bought her a play tent and she's crawling out when I grabbed this shot. Later she managed to persuade her Gran to get inside the tent as well, I've got a picture but it would be more than my life is worth to publish it.
